The motorcyclist was airlifted to the University of New Mexico Hospital in Albuquerque, where he died on Wednesday.

Santa Fe, N.M. – A man died days after being struck by a vehicle as he rode his motorcycle earlier this month in Santa Fe.
According to the Santa Fe Police Department, the accident happened around 9:30 p.m. December 12, at the intersection of St. Francis Drive and Cerrillos Road.
The 24-year-old Santa Fe man was riding a motorcycle northbound on Cerrillos Road when he was struck by a Chevrolet sedan making a left turn onto southbound St. Francis.
The rider was taken to a local hospital with severe head trauma and head injury and subsequently airlifted to the University of New Mexico Hospital in Albuquerque, where he died on Wednesday.
The 16-year-old girl driving the car and her passenger, also a 16-year-old girl, were uninjured.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
