According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the accident happened around 2:30 p.m. at Spring Leaf and Starwood drives, near Flamingo Road and Rainbow Boulevard.
A moped rider was northbound on Spring Leaf Drive when he veered to the left, hit a parked car, and was ejected.
The man was seriously injured in the accident and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
