Bloomington, IN. – Two people were injured in a crash on Tuesday afternoon in Bloomington.

According to the Bloomington Police Department, the accident happened around 3:30 p.m. in the 2700 block of North Walnut Street.

A 23-year-old woman was driving a 2001 blue Honda sedan southbound when she allowed the car to veer across the centerline and into the path of a northbound Chevrolet driven by a 37-year-old man.

The woman was trapped inside the vehicle and had to be extricated.

Both drivers were transported to the hospital with injuries.

The 23-year-old woman showed no signs of impairment, according to the officers.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
