Deputies said a woman was crossing the road when she was struck by a sedan in unclear circumstances.
DeKalb, IL. – A 66-year-old woman was killed after a pedestrian accident on Tuesday afternoon in Sycamore, in DeKalb County.
According to the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office, the accident occurred at about 5:52 p.m. on December 16.
Deputies said a woman was crossing the road when she was struck by a sedan in unclear circumstances.
She was rushed to Kishwaukee Hospital where she was declared dead.
The involved driver, a 36-year-old man from Sycamore, stayed at the scene.
No charges have been filed against him.
An investigation is underway.
