Las Vegas, NV. – A motorcyclist died after colliding with a truck on Friday afternoon in Las Vegas.
According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the accident occurred in the 5900 block of Boulder Highway near Tropicana Avenue at around 2:30 p.m.
A 47-year-old Las Vegas man was riding a motorcycle northbound on Boulder Highway when he collided with a pickup truck that made a turning movement and crossed the motorcycle’s travel path.
The motorcyclist was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries, where he later died.
The 79-year-old man driving the pickup truck remained at the scene, and impairment is not suspected.
