According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, the collision happened around 3 p.m. on Highway 50 near Occidental Drive.
A 45-year-old man was driving a quad and was trying to cross the road when he was struck by a vehicle.
The 45-year-old man suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was airlifted to the hospital for treatment.
