Fort Wayne, IN. – One person was injured in a car accident on Wednesday afternoon in Fort Wayne.
According to the Allen County Sheriff’s Department, the accident happened around 3:45 p.m. on Crawford Road, west of Tonkel Road.
A 67-year-old man was driving a car east on Crawford Road when he veered off the roadway in unclear circumstances and hit a tree.
The man was transported to the local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Police say the man was the only occupant in the car during the crash.
