Las Vegas, NV. – One person was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident in Las Vegas on Friday afternoon.
According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the accident happened around 5 p.m. at the intersection of South Nellis Boulevard and Boulder Highway.
A motorcyclist was traveling southbound and was attempting to avoid a pedestrian in the street when he lost control and crashed into a vehicle.
The motorcyclist was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with the police.
Impairment is not suspected.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
