Portland, OR. – A man was killed in a hit-and-run accident on Friday afternoon in Northeast Portland, according to the police.
The fatal accident happened around 3:00 p.m. in the 8700 block of Northeast Prescott Street, between Northeast 86th Avenue and 88th Avenue.
Police said the man was struck by a vehicle that then fled the scene.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities are looking for the suspect.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
