Chelan, WA. – One person was killed, and another was injured in a rollover accident in Chelan on Saturday, according to the authorities.
The fatal collision happened on State Route 97A at milepost 227, north of the Knapps Tunnel.
WSP said a car lost control on the icy highway and hit a school bus that was carrying the Leavenworth wrestling team.
The car then rolled over, killing the driver.
The students on the school bus were uninjured in the accident but were taken to Lake Chelan Medical Center as a precaution.
