A 45-year-old driver of the GMC was killed in the accident

Lea County, N.M. – One person was killed in a two-vehicle collision on Saturday night in Lovington.
According to the Lea County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened around 6:32 p.m. on New Mexico Highway 83 near South Ponderosa Lane.
A black 2004 Ford F-250 and a black 2015 GMC Yukon collided head-on in unclear circumstances.
A 45-year-old driver of the GMC was killed in the accident.
More details about the accident were not released.
