Authorities said a vehicle and a semi-truck collided in unclear circumstances.
Wataga, IL. – A man was killed after a semi-truck accident on Monday afternoon near Wataga, according to the Knox County Coroner’s Office.
The accident happened a while before 5:20 p.m. December 1, on U.S. 34 near Knox Road 2200 North.
Authorities said a vehicle and a semi-truck collided in unclear circumstances.
A man was killed in the collision.
The roadway was closed and reopened by around 9:30 p.m following the crash.
Officials said that the roads were reported to have been slick at the time of the collision.
An investigation is underway.
