All three individuals were transported to a hospital

Cowlitz County, WA. – Three people were injured after a two-vehicle collision on Saturday afternoon in Cowlitz County, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The crash occurred around 3 p.m. on SR-504 near Finkas Road.
A 60-year-old Marysville man driving a Volvo S60 slowed to turn left into a private driveway when the driver of a Toyota 4Runner attempted to pass him on the left.
The driver of the 4Runner, a 20-year-old from Toutle, collided with the Volvo near mile marker 14.
The Volvo driver was not injured, but his 61-year-old passenger from Marysville was hurt.
The 4Runner’s driver and his 18-year-old passenger from Silverlake were also injured. All three individuals were transported to a hospital. No arrests were reported.
Troopers cited the 4Runner’s driver for an improper pass.
The crash remains under investigation.
