According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the accident happened on Las Vegas Boulevard near Pecos Road at around 6 p.m.
The woman was attempting to cross Las Vegas Boulevard and was struck by an SUV.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
