Collier County, FL. – Police are investigating a deadly two-vehicle accident that killed a 17-year-old girl from Immokalee at an intersection in Naples, Collier County on Wednesday afternoon.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the deadly collision happened a while before 12:16 p.m. on November 26, at Vanderbilt Beach Road and Islandwalk Boulevard.
Troopers said the teen was driving a 2008 Ford west on Vanderbilt Beach in the inside lane and was approaching the intersection of Islandwalk. At the same time, a 2005 Jeep operated by an 86-year-old man from Naples was stopped facing east on Vanderbilt Beach at the intersection of Islandwalk.

The Immokalee teen died in the crash.
Three Jeep passengers were severely hurt and transported to an area hospital for treatment. Two of them are juveniles.
No charges have been filed in connection with the accident.
An investigation is underway.
