Tippecanoe County, IN. – A third person has died from injuries sustained in a fiery car crash that happened in West Lafayette in October.

According to the Tippecanoe County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened in the 5600 block of Highway 231 on October 27.

A car was traveling north when it drifted off the road and crashed into a power pole.

The car caught fire after the impact.

Two people were pronounced dead at the scene.

A 21-year-old man from Kyrgyzstan was pronounced dead Tuesday at an Indianapolis hospital from complications from injuries.

The Tippecanoe County Coroner’s office, Marion County Coroner’s office, and the Tippecanoe County Sheriff’s Office are investigating the accident.
