Kennewick, WA. – One person was injured after a rollover crash on Monday evening in Kennewick, according to the Washington State Patrol.

The accident happened on Route 240 near the Edison Street off-ramp at around 4:30 p.m. on November 24.

Investigators reported that a vehicle left the roadway, broke through a fence, and overturned, coming to rest on its roof in a nearby disc golf course.

At least one person had to be extricated from the vehicle before being transported by ambulance for medical treatment.

The driver, a 48-year-old Kennewick woman, was later arrested and charged with driving under the influence.

Traffic on Route 240 was slowed while emergency crews from the Kennewick Police Department, Kennewick Fire Department, and Washington State Patrol worked at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation.
