According to the FHP troopers, the boy was driving a John Deere side-by-side vehicle when he overcorrected by steering right and the vehicle rolled over.

Hendry County, FL. – The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly collision that left a 12-year-old boy from Miami with fatal injuries on Monday afternoon in Hendry County.
The crash happened at around 4:40 p.m. on November 24, near Doctors Hammock Road and Barfield Road.
According to the FHP troopers, the boy was driving a John Deere side-by-side vehicle when he overcorrected by steering right and the vehicle rolled over. The 12-year-old boy was declared dead at the crash site.
A 9-year-old boy and a 41-year-old Miami man were also riding in the vehicle at the time. The boy was severely hurt and was rushed to a local hospital while the man sustained minor injuries due to the collision.
An investigation is ongoing.
