Adams County, IL. – A man was killed after a traffic collision on Friday morning near Camp Point in Adams County, according to the Adams County Sheriff’s Office.
The accident happened at 6:31 a.m. on November 21, on Highway 24 between E 2000th and E 2100th.
Authorities said an SUV drove off the roadway and crossed into a ditch. It then crossed train tracks and rested in a field.
The SUV driver, a 22-year-old Mendon man, was killed in the collision.
It was not immediately known why the SUV went off the roadway.
