Renton, WA. – The Washington State Police are investigating a hit-and-run crash that left a pedestrian injured on Sunday night in Renton.
The accident happened around 9:30 p.m. on Highway 900 near 164th Avenue Southeast.
A pedestrian was hit by a vehicle before it fled the scene.
Troopers arrived at the scene when the victim had already been rushed to the hospital for treatment.
Police said the vehicle that struck the pedestrian is believed to be a silver or gray Honda Accord.
The car is expected to have noticeable damage, including a missing passenger-side mirror that broke off during the collision.
