Kentland, IN. – A 37-year-old man died in a car crash on Thursday morning in Kentland.
According to the Newton County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened around 6:14 a.m. on U.S 41 near County Road 1800 South.
The 37-year-old man from Dearborn County was driving a 2013 Toyota Highlander northbound on US 41 when the car crossed the center line.
The driver overcorrected, and the vehicle left the road during the maneuver.
The man, who was the only occupant in the SUV, was ejected from the vehicle after the car rolled several times.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
