Centralia, IL. – One person was hospitalized after being injured in a car accident on Wednesday morning in Centralia.
According to the Centralia Police Department, the accident happened around 10:07 a.m. at Sixth Street and Maple Street.
A 52-year-old woman reportedly disobeyed a yield sign and struck a car operated by a 24-year-old man.
The man was injured in the accident and was taken to St. Mary’s Hospital for treatment.
The woman was treated at the scene and released.
