Elk Grove Village, IL. – A bicyclist was injured after being struck by a car in Elk Grove Village on Wednesday night.
According to Elk Grove Village police, the accident happened around 10:33 p.m. at Busse Road and Oakton Street.
A car was traveling northbound on Busse when it struck a bicyclist who was traveling eastbound on Oakton.
The bicyclist was injured and taken to Lutheran General Hospital by the fire department.
The driver of the Prius remained on scene and cooperated with the police.
More details about the accident were not released.
