Columbia County, FL. – A 69-year-old woman died in a motorcycle accident in Fort White, Columbia County, on Thursday afternoon.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the accident happened on County Road 778 at SW Fortune Way.
The Fort White woman was riding a three-wheeled Harley Davidson westbound and was attempting to pass a 2009 sedan driven by a 17-year-old boy when the teen slowed down to make a left turn onto SW Fortune Way, and the two vehicles collided.
The woman was taken to a local hospital, where she died while receiving treatment.
The driver of the sedan and his 20-year-old passenger were not seriously.
