The teenagers were transported to MultiCare Yakima Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries

Yakima, WA. – Two teenagers were injured in a hit-and-run accident on Tuesday night in Yakima, according to the police.
The accident happened around 5:45 p.m. on November 12, at the intersection of South Fair Avenue and East Spruce Street.
Police said a 62-year-old man was driving a 1998 Dodge Caravan southbound when he struck a 16-year-old and a 13-year-old who were crossing South Fair Avenue.
The man got out and talked to the teenagers before driving off.
The teenagers were transported to MultiCare Yakima Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The police were able to identify the driver after witnesses took a picture of the vehicle.
He is facing potential felony hit-and-run charges.
Police are investigating the accident.
