Manatee County, FL. – A 28-year-old motorcyclist was injured in a crash in Manatee County on Sunday afternoon.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the collision occurred around 4:30 p.m. at the intersection of State Road 64 and River Heritage Boulevard.

A motorcycle and a Toyota Corolla driven by a 75-year-old woman were involved in a grisly collision.

The motorcyclist was hit on the right side after attempting to avoid a collision with the Toyota.

A Toyota Corolla operated by a 75-year-old was turning left onto River Heritage Boulevard and struck a motorcycle.

The motorcyclist was critically injured in the collision. He was airlifted to HCA Florida Blake Hospital.

The driver and her passenger suffered minor injuries in the accident.
