Peoria, AZ. – One person was killed in a motorcycle accident at an intersection in Peoria on Sunday morning.
According to the Peoria Police Department, the fatal accident happened around 7:00 a.m. in the area of Peoria Avenue and Grand Avenue.
Police said a motorcycle and two cars collided at the intersection in unclear circumstances.
The motorcyclist was taken to a local hospital, where they later died.
The accident closed the intersection for several hours, and it was reopened just before 12:00 p.m.
Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
