Lincolnshire, IL. – An 81-year-old man died after being struck by a car in Lincolnshire on Tuesday evening.
According to the Lincolnshire Police Department, the accident happened around 5:15 p.m. on Milwaukee Avenue near Knightsbridge Parkway.
The man was attempting to cross the street on foot when he was struck by the car operated by a 58-year-old Prospect Heights resident.
The elderly man died at the accident scene.
The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the police.
