Lake County, IL. – A man died after being struck by a car in Zion on Monday evening.
According to the Lake County Coroner’s Office, the accident happened around 5:50 p.m. at the intersection of 33rd Street and Sheridan Road.
The 59-year-old Beach Park man was struck by a car in unclear circumstances.
The man was taken to Vista Medical Center East, where he was pronounced dead in the emergency room.
More details about the accident were not released.
