The driver and passenger of the Triumph were pronounced dead at the scene

Albuquerque, N.M. – Two people were killed in a multi-car crash on Sunday night in Albuquerque.
According to the Albuquerque Police Department, the accident occurred at around 7:48 p.m. at the intersection of Candelaria Road and Second Street NW.
A Toyota was heading west on Candelaria and joined the intersection at 2nd Street when a 1967 Triumph that was travelling north on 2nd Street t-boned it.
The Toyota then crashed into two other cars that were waiting at a red light in the opposite turning lane.
The driver and passenger of the Triumph were pronounced dead at the scene.
Occupants of the Toyota were transported to the hospital in stable condition.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
