The BMW driver and her 2-year-old passenger sustained minor injuries.

Deschutes County, OR. – A woman was killed in a two-vehicle collision on Wednesday in Deschutes County, according to the police.
The fatal collision happened around 2:45 p.m. on October 29 at the intersection of Highway 97 and Highway 370.
Police said an 85-year-old Redmond woman was driving a Ford Escape when she attempted to cross Highway 97 and entered the path of a southbound BMW 3S, resulting in a collision.
The driver of the Ford was taken to a local hospital, where she later died.
The BMW driver, a 21-year-old Terrebonne woman and her passenger, a 2-year-old girl, sustained minor injuries.
The accident closed the highway for one hour.
Police are investigating the accident.
