Phoenix, AZ. – An 84-year-old man died after being hit by a car Thursday evening in north Phoenix, according to the police.
The fatal accident happened around 7:30 p.m. at the intersection of 32nd Street and Campo Bello Drive north of Bell Road.
Police said the man was crossing the street when he was struck by a car.
The man was taken to the hospital, where he later died.
The involved driver stayed at the scene. They were not impaired at the time of the accident.
Police are investigating the accident.
