Both drivers were wearing seatbelts at the time of the accident

Bremerton, WA. – A 29-year-old Port Orchard woman was killed in a two-vehicle accident in Bremerton on Tuesday morning, according to the WSP.
The fatal collision happened around 11:30 a.m. at the intersection of Lake Flora Road and Highway 3.
WSP said the woman was driving a Honda Civic and was stopped on Lake Flora while a flatbed truck driven by a 54-year-old Bremerton man was traveling northbound on Highway 3.
As the Civic pulled onto the highway to turn left, it was hit by the flatbed truck.
The woman was killed in the accident.
The flatbed truck driver was uninjured in the accident.
Both drivers were wearing seatbelts at the time of the accident.
The driver of the Civic’s failure to yield the right of way caused the accident.
The accident closed Highway 3 at Lake Flora Road, just south of Bremerton National Airport.
The roadway was reopened around 2:30 p.m.
WSP is investigating the accident.
