Lacey, WA. – A 67-year-old Springfield woman was killed in a car accident near Lacey on Friday night, according to the WSP.
The fatal accident happened around 7:20 p.m. on October 24, on Interstate 5 near the Nisqually Bridge.
WSP said the woman was driving northbound on the freeway approaching the bridge when she drove off the roadway to the right and crashed into a barrier.
She then crossed all lanes and crashed into a left-side barrier.
The woman was taken to Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia, where she later died.
No other details were provided.
The WSP is investigating the accident.
