Pima County, AZ. – A 53-year-old man was killed in a motorcycle accident on Saturday in Pima County, according to the Pima County Sheriff’s Department.
The fatal accident happened on Catalina Highway near milepost 9.
PCSD said a man was riding a motorcycle when his rear wheel lost traction, causing the motorcycle to flip.
The man was ejected, and he landed on the roadway.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say the man was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.
PCSD is investigating the accident.
