Indianapolis, IN. – A police officer was injured in a car collision on Friday morning in Indianapolis.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, the accident happened around 7:30 a.m. in the 5200 block of Raymond Street near Emerson Avenue.
An IMPD car was struck from behind by another car in unclear circumstances.
The IMPD officer was injured in the accident and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
The driver of the other vehicle was evaluated at the scene and was released.
