Allen County, IN. – A juvenile was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle as he rode an electric bicycle in Allen County on Saturday morning.
According to the Allen County Sheriff’s Department, the accident happened around 1:36 a.m. on Roth Road, just south of State Road 1.
A juvenile riding an electric bicycle northbound on Roth Road when he was struck by a northbound Ford F-150 pickup truck.
The juvenile was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the pickup truck was unhurt.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
