Albuquerque, N.M. – At least three people, including a baby, injured in collision involving a police patrol vehicle on Saturday afternoon in Albuquerque.
According to the Albuquerque Police Department, the accident happened around noon on Coors Blvd NW near Paseo Del Norte.
Officers who responded to the scene found an overturned SUV and an APD patrol unit with heavy front end damage.
The driver and passenger of the SUV had non-life-threatening injuries.A baby in the SUV was transported to Lovelace hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
An officer suffered a leg injury and was taken to hospital for treatment.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
