A 34-year-old male passenger in the Jeep was killed in the accident

Hillsborough County, FL. – One person was killed in a car crash that left five others injured in Hillsborough County on Monday afternoon.
The fatal crash occurred around 2 p.m. on Interstate 4 near Interstate 75, according to local police.
A westbound Ford F-250 truck driven by a 32-year-old Thonotosassa man failed to stop after the traffic had slowed and rear-ended a Jeep Cherokee, which then crashed into the rear of a dump truck.
A 34-year-old male passenger in the Jeep was killed in the accident.
Five people were severely injured in the collision and were taken to local hospitals for treatment.
The dump truck driver was not injured.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
