Okeechobee, FL. – One person was killed in a car crash on Sunday afternoon in Okeechobee.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, the accident happened on State Road 78 near Tomato Grade Road.
An 85-year-old man was driving a truck westbound when he lost control, veered off the highway and crashed into a tree.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
