The driver of the Subaru was airlifted to Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane with serious injuries

Chelan, WA. – Six people were injured in a head-on collision near Chelan on Saturday afternoon, according to the WSP.
The collision happened around 3:21 p.m. on October 18, on U.S. Highway 97 near milepost 236.
A 2003 Subaru Legacy was traveling southbound when it crossed the center line and collided head-on with a northbound 2016 GMC Canyon pickup truck.
The driver of the Subaru, a 22-year-old man, was airlifted to Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane with serious injuries.
The GMC driver, a 31-year-old woman, and her four passengers, ages 14, 11, 10, and 10 months old, were taken to Lake Chelan Hospital for treatment.
One of the children was later airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
All occupants were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the accident.
Authorities are investigating the accident.
