Sodo, WA. – A teenager was killed and three others were critically injured in a single-vehicle accident in Sodo on Saturday, according to the police.

The fatal accident happened on Highway 99 at Harbor Island.

A Chevrolet Cruze was exiting southbound Highway 99 when it struck the barrier ramp and plunged about 80 feet, where it landed upside down.

The overturned vehicle was found at East Marginal Way South and South Spokane Street by first responders.

The driver, a 16-year-old girl, was trapped inside and had to be extricated.

A passenger, a male teenager, was ejected. Two other male passengers exited the car on their own.

All four victims were taken to Harborview Medical Center, where the teenager who had been ejected died.

The other three victims were listed in serious condition.

Police are investigating the accident.
