Phoenix, AZ. – Two police officers and an arrestee were injured in a rollover accident in Phoenix on Saturday morning.
According to the police, the accident occurred around 11:50 a.m. on October 18, near the intersection of 7th Avenue and Grant Street.
Police said an SUV was traveling westbound when it ran a red light and collided with a southbound patrol unit.
The patrol unit rolled over after the collision.
Two Phoenix police officers were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
The passenger in police custody had serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The other driver was uninjured.
Impairment was not a factor in the accident.
The police are investigating the accident.
