Mercer, IL. – Six people were injured in a two-vehicle crash on early Wednesday evening near Alexis in Mercer County.
According to the Mercer County Sheriff Department, the crash happened around 6:50 p.m. on US Highway 67 at 50th Avenue.
The circumstances surrounding the collision were not immediately determined.
Emergency services were dispatched to the scene where six people were hurt.
The six people were taken to different hospitals for treatment. Two victims had to be airlifted from the scene.
