FHP says the driver was stuck inside the SUV, which burst into flames after the crash
Palm Beach County, FL. – One person was killed in a car crash near Boca Raton in Palm Beach County on Monday night.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the accident occurred on the Turnpike northbound near the Yamato Road exit at around 9:30 pm.
An SUV driving in the center lane rear-ended a semi-truck that had slowed down due to traffic congestion.
The SUV burst into flames after the collision.
FHP says the driver was stuck inside the burning car and was pronounced dead at the scene.
More details about the accident were not released.
