The motorcyclist was airlifted to a hospital for treatment
Apache Junction, AZ. – A motorcyclist was injured Tuesday evening in an accident northeast of Apache Junction, according to the AZDPS.
The accident happened on October 14 on State Route 88 (Apache Trail) northeast of Lost Dutchman State Park.
DPS said a motorcycle went off the highway and crashed down an embankment.
The motorcyclist was airlifted to a hospital for treatment.
The accident closed the westbound side of SR 88.
AZDPS is investigating the accident.
