The driver of the red RZR was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries

Tucson, AZ. – One person was killed and two others were injured Thursday night in a UTV accident in Tucson, according to the police.
The deadly accident happened on October 9 in the 6000 block of East Alexander Anton Lane near the Pima Air & Space Museum.
Police said a red 2018 Polaris RZR and a blue 2018 RZR were traveling parallel to each other on separate dirt roads. When the roads merged, the two side-by-sides collided, causing both of them to roll over.
A passenger in the red RZR, a 56-year-old woman, was pronounced dead at the scene. She was not wearing the harness system in the vehicle at the time of the accident.
The driver of the red RZR was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the blue RZR was treated at the scene for minor injuries.
Neither drivers were impaired at the time of the accident.
The police are investigating the accident.
