Seven people were injured in the accident and were taken to an area hospital for treatment.

Adams County, IN. – Seven people riding in a horse-drawn buggy were injured after they were struck by a speeding Jeep in Berne on Tuesday night.
According to the Adams County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened around 11:20 p.m. at SR 218 and CR 000.
Officers who responded to the incident found a Jeep in a ditch on the south side of the road and a buggy with several ejected people.
The Jeep was reportedly traveling eastbound when it crashed into the buggy carrying a total of nine people.
