Douglas County, OR. – One person was killed Monday morning in a single-car accident in Douglas County, according to the police.
The deadly accident happened around 5:27 a.m. on October 6 on Highway 38 near milepost 49.
Police said a gold Buick Century was traveling eastbound on the highway when it left the roadway and traveled down an embankment, where it struck a tree. It came to rest at the bottom of the embankment.
The Buick driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
No other details were released.
