Police said a semi and a small sedan crashed in unclear circumstances.
Woodstock, IL. – Two people were injured following a traffic collision involving a semi-truck on Monday afternoon in Woodstock, according to the McHenry County Sheriff’s Office.
The crash occurred at around 2:30 p.m. on October 6, at Hartland Road and Route 14.
Police said a semi and a small sedan crashed in unclear circumstances.
The sedan sustained significant heavy damage and was on the roadway while the semi was in a ditch west of the intersection following the crash.
The drivers and the sole occupants of the vehicles were evaluated at the crash site. They were transported to area hospitals for treatment of injuries ranging from minor to moderate degree.
Authorities closed westbound Route 14 for around an hour as investigators worked at the scene.
The incident remains under investigation.
